It’s time to talk about death and grief and surviving and living. I am finishing the final edits on my memoir, My Truce with Grief.
All those “ands” are called polysyndeton. I am a writing nerd.
This is a space for thinking out loud. I do not believe in trigger warnings. If you don’t want to experience art (writing, photographs, paintings, drawings, sculpture, illustration, printmaking, ceramics, architecture, etc.), don’t.
There is beauty in horror, and there is life after loss. Art helps with that thing we call living.
