Shedding Some Skin
Always a new layer to discover…
Aside from the Chinese Year of the Snake moving to the Fire Horse and January dumping a few feet of snow into February, my widow self has been trying to make the season of hell days (holidays) move faster. And here we are.
Thankfully, Suzi Banks Baum and her Advent Dark Journal winter workshop reignited my creativity.
Gratefully, my local writing community is alive and well.

Congrats
to Angela Grout from YWrite, getting into the International Business Journal. I was lucky enough to be interviewed by Angela in 2024. The YouTube Link is HERE.
Joyful
to continue my “Kitchen Table MFA” with The Stone Ridge Library at their One Chapter at a Time book study of Virginia Woolf’s Three Guineas
Excited
to attend Pádraig Ó Tuama’s “Poems of Longing” weekend workshop at Hutton Brickyards, Feb 26-Mar 1. One of my favorite writers! (I am BEYOND thrilled.)
Honored
to attend the Masters Workshop of the Tucson Festival of Books, March 15-17. My memoir excerpt was a finalist in the nonfiction category of the Tucson Festival of Books Literary Awards competition. I’ll be working with award-winning journalist Caleb Gayle (how amazing is THAT!?)

You are unstoppable! And ever inspirational and encouraging!
So much creativity in your life! It looks like you're celebrating Helldays end with verve. And congrats on being a Tuscon Festival of Books finalist, poems published, and the speaking engagement. You go!
